Asia Fairly easy vegetarian recipes?
Therefore, I am in love with Asian food or just food culture in general. I'm looking for some easy vegetarian recipes. Things like chips, pad thai, soups, etc. I love noodles and rice dishes. Prefer nothing too hard, if not I'm as big of a cook. (: Merci.
I eat fried rice with chopped red pepper, mushrooms, onions, and about four nights a week. I do not know if you were waiting for something fancier than that, but it is very easy to put together. You even before a handful of rice cooking and before cutting a lot of vegetables to store in your refrigerator for the preparation even easier. Sometimes I add sliced tofu teriyaki there too, which is a great addition to some proteins. Instructions: 1. Cook desired amount of any type of white rice (I like to use Jasmine) per the instructions on the package. If you are going to immediately use this rice instead of leaving rest in the fridge for a while, then decrease the amount of water by 1 / 4 cup in order to come up with a drier than fried rice better. An average portion size is 1 1 / 2 to 2 cups if this will be your main course. I like to cook the rice boil for 10-15 minutes, just until a little water left, then turning the fire and let the steam from the rest of the way to the top – rice is perfect every time. 2. While rice is cooking, wash and cut any mixture of vegetables you want. As I said, I like the red pepper, onion, mushroom combo. Cut the vegetables a bit thicker than it really wants to turn in the end because it will reduce and contract a little when cooked. I personally add in about a cup to a half cups of chopped vegetables per serving for more texture. 3. Let your wok or pan big come over medium heat. Add a spoonful of any cooking oil (I prefer peanut oil). Toss in your vegetables into slices and add a tablespoon or two soy sauce, depending on your taste. Cook until vegetables are tender but still have some crisis for them. Mine usually take about 3 minutes or less. Cooked vegetables annulment, and end their frying pan / wok with a paper towel until you remove any residue. 4. Now heat a skillet back over medium-high. Add a tablespoon of oil for every two cups of rice to be fried. Once the bread and the oil is hot, spoon the rice into the pan / wok. Be careful, because oil can pop a little bit initially. Keep the rice moving in the pan or with a spatula or pulling the pan to cook the rice evenly. 5. After rice has been uniformly coated with oil, add any kind of sauce and spices to taste like rice. I usually add about 2 tablespoons sauce soy, 1 / 4 teaspoon salt, dash of black pepper, a pinch of onion powder, and a bit of Sriracha chili sauce for about 4 cups of rice. You can add any that is to your liking, just keep tasting as you go and adjustments. 6. Fry the rice for 3-5 minutes total, or until no longer stick and has dried a little. You can test up here as well, and fry until you get the texture you want. Toss in his veggetables in the end and is delicious fried rice with vegetables!
