Unless you are escaping to a desert island for the whole of December, Christmas shopping is almost inevitable, but if your local stores simply will not cut this year (and you do not want to rely on the post!), then why not use our guide to lead the best shopping in the UK? Pre-Christmas sales are not uncommon now to look around for some real bargains.
1. Oxford Street, London,
Forty million shoppers make their annual pilgrimage Christmas every year can not be wrong. People come from the lights, the two miles of 300 + stores, ranges extended in many international brand shops and the enormous number of options (Selfridges, Top Shop, Nike Town, John Lewis, and the list goes on). Although probably not come to the public. Oxford Street is a major London tourist attractions and is still one of the most popular shopping destinations in the world.
2. Manchester
The second city of England officer has the advantage in many of its rivals cold. Not counting the Arndale Center, this city is a paradise for shoppers and is crammed full of small retailers specialized boutiques vintage retro / bohemian chic poor many shops with original Mancunian style. Perfect if you really stuck for ideas for Christmas shopping – Just remember to pack an umbrella!
3. Brighton & Hove
Although a small town, Brighton & Hove has become high on the list because it is surprising wide range of shops from fashion boutiques, unique contemporary fashion antiques and original art and jewelry. The most bohemian shops and fashion found in North Laines of Brighton. Wander half a square mile of shopping streets and alleys 50 and 60 years kitsch, lifestyle, aspirational products or reproductions French furniture and then stops for a mung bean burger at one of the many health and vegetarian food establishments. Designer business is in the Brighton Marina and renowned stores are located in Churchill Square.
4. Edinburgh
Edinburgh is a shopping place is very aesthetically pleasing and often considered one of the most beautiful cities in Britain. People brave the cold to come here and see the sights and make your gifts Christmas shopping. The locals take the style and consumerism seriously and, besides being full of designer names (Stella McCartney, Louis Vuitton, Prada, etc) there are plenty hip and trendy boutiques smaller.
5. Birmingham
England's second city official should not disappoint buyers, is a more easy to navigate as you might think with most stores in the newly remodeled Bull Ring and New Street. Brummies love of fashion designer labels, but also love a bargain. They also love unusual architecture (the  £ 40 million futuristic Selfridges building worth coming to Birmingham to see for themselves same, although, having said that, could not be everyones taste!). Just as every major high street shops including Harvey Nichols and House of Fraser, the jewelry district it should have known it with all your Bling!
6. Spitalfields Market, London
Okay this would be the choice, but if you are tired of the always things in every store's usual high street, Spitalfields Market with its eclectic range of posts – many with original designs – definitely worth the worth a visit. Buy your cousin cool original leather purse, your mother a vintage brooch, niece or nephew of a printed babygrow fashion, or simply take a piece of wheat-free Christmas cake.
7. Newcastle
If you like your shopping experience to a very large scale, then this would certainly be the place to visit. The enormous MetroCentre is probably why most people travel to Newcastle for shopping as it is one of the largest shopping and leisure centers in Europe. Eastern North also has a fondness for the original designs so that as the usual favorite street is also a wide range of independent shops and a folk art and craft market every Sunday at Armstrong Bridge in Jesmond.
8. Bath
If this is the quintessential English experience Christmas shopping you are after, look no further than Bath. Grand Street with its Georgian, Roman Baths and the beautiful abbey, Bath is very easy on the eye and even the buyer more demanding is well supplied. And to all family name stores, the city offers a wide range of independent shops and stylish boutiques and well-organized Christmas Market which is from 26 November to 6 December 2009.
9. Dublin
Ok, not in the UK, but Dublin is a vibrant and fun and would make an excellent choice for a Christmas shopping destination easily accessible. It is a very compact city with all the shops in walking distance and most purchases around the pedestrian Grafton Street (shops towards the top end of market) and the St. Stephen's Green Shopping Center (the usual high street shops). After end there head of Temple Bar in trendy clothes and more unusual music and art shops (and probably a pint of Guinness).
10. Cardiff
Even if you're looking for a rugby shirt or a Welsh love spoon not overlook Cardiff as a destination for Christmas shopping. Cardiff is a very nice and is now one of the best shopping spots in the country thanks to the commercial center of the new St. David  £ 675 million extension. All stores main is represented in the very impressive "St. David's 2, but if shopping is more intimate than when tested on cute and Morgan galleries Castillo trading even with its Victorian and Edwardian features.
