Sacramento is a good place to live?

I go to the kitchen of the Academy next year.I live in Bakersfield California, now that is 5 hours is a costly drive. Is city to live? Is it good people? Is there good vegetarian restaurants? All details are useful.Any at all. Thanks!

If you go to the kitchen From the Academy in Natomas, careful with that area (many of the gangs and things in Natomas – especially the southern part). Overall, however, is a good place to go to school – the suburbs, such as the Fair Oaks, Elk Grove, Roseville, are good places to live, although you could take up to half an hour to school there. Sacramento has a nightlife growth, a lot of restaurants in Midtown. Many places to show their skills. And it's an hour drive to either San Francisco or Lake Tahoe, is located in the center of the two most beautiful places on earth, in my opinion. A little expensive, but livable. I think it's much better than Bakersfield. North Natomas is a rather good to stay, but as I said, be careful. Been here over 20 years, watched him grow, peak, and fall in the last 5 years. You really like river. The American River bike trail is one of my favs – 26 miles, which stretches from downtown Sacramento to Folsom, with magnificent countryside. Bring your bike! As for restaurants Vegetarians, there are few. My daughter goes to the cuisine of the Academy and a lot of meat is cooked. Son (Sacramentan) actually at the bar B Que. But there are a couple of vegetarian restaurants – in Most people Meateaters however, with vegetarian options in restaurants. Davis (10-15 miles west) has a vegetarian environment.
