Onion and Garlic Allergy – Recipe Ideas please! (Vegetarian)?
A good friend is eating and has more and more as we finished ordering pizza All my recipes seem to use onion or garlic, and do not know so well without him. Roast meat and vegetables are as I am vegetarian. It's so hard to find store bought saucces without onion or garlic (and I shop online anyway so can not verify). I would cook a nice vegetarian dish pretty easy for him not contains onion or garlic. Any ideas?
Why do not you try this simple pasta dish? Pasta with spinach and walnuts for 2: – Pasta for two (Penne is good) – A small tub of sour cream – cheese – half cup of nuts – 200 grams of spinach – 100 g mushrooms – 50 g blue cheese (optional) – green herbs (basil! Preferably fresh). – Salt and pepper – * Cook pasta as directed on package. * * Cut the mushrooms in separate pan (I always use a wok), add the sour cream, blue cheese and sliced mushrooms. Leave on medium heat (not boil !!!). If thick, add milk. * Simmer for ten minutes and take medium-low heat * Add the baby spinach (washed first!) * Add salt, pepper to taste add green herbs (always last, as some turn bitter when heated long) is made salsa Scoop the pasta, add sauce and sprinkle with nuts (crushed a little) and feta (that is rubbed between your fingers). Done! Enjoy!
