What about my body if I drank protein shakes?

I am great at making … and I love to drink protein shakes. * Side note, I am vegetarian, so im not getting any other source of protein * but what about my body if I only drank smoothies of protein for a week?

It depends on what else they have different protein shake. This is only the protein with zero carbs and zero fat? If so, some people made use of a standard diet PSMF (which is what you are describing, essentially, if it's just protein) and can succeed in the short term. People, mostly fail in this type of diet because it is so extreme and difficult to enforce. The idea is to get their protein needs also essential and some fats. For example, 1 g per 1 pound of body weight PLUS 12 grams of fat each day (See Lyle McDonald's Rapid Fat Loss Diet) and no carbohydrates. Something like that … I've done this diet and it was fine. I lost body fat, but I felt lost too much muscle. What I have done successfully for a while is to drink 4 shakes with almonds (a source of fat) separately from my 6 meals a day. My other two foods are whole foods. It was not because of convience I love shakes like you lol. And it worked brilliantly. Our body recognizes not only the nutrients where they are coming. Meaning shakes off whole foods. What can be seen by taking it only moves that are more hungry during the day because of whey protein digests very quickly and all foods rich in proteins do not. So it depends what you have in that shake.
