ahh! can someone please help me with my stir fry?
Iim Ok so I'm 16 and only making dinner for me tonight while my parents are out. stirfry'm doing .. but no tofu, chicken or meat, because I am a vegetarian. well, so I have all the ingredients, but do not know how the hell to put them all together, here is what I have mixed peppers and onions () fresh celery, carrots, fresh frozen fresh green beans and snow peas firm tofu (unsesoned) water chestnuts, baby corn and I'm pretty sure that's it. oh and in case you need to use any kind of broth, vegetable broth I have. soy sauce, oyster sauce, etc so now my question is, how on earth do I prepare? the steps that need. i would appreciate it! you have no idea. thanks!
Many thanks to all well! You are awesome i cannot choose a best answer because everyone has helped me a lot. So thank you!
Oh and ps the fry was very good:) haha
Okay you need to heat a little oil in a skillet until hot but not smoking, so that you can begin to saute the vegetables quickly ….. First, frozen vegetables Wash in cold water to thaw. When frying want to add things that will transmit their flavors to the other vegetables first …. so start with the peppers and onions after thawing, reduce heat to medium, sauté @ 1-2 minutes, then go to the carrots, celery, add the tofu .. your green beans, peas and green beans alongside. then add the sauce to taste … I use a little soy sauce and oyster sauce …. if they will have rice, can boil the vegetables in broth for more flavor. Add the corn and water chestnuts to the final after finishing sauces … just heat them through ….. Hope this helps!
