Want to eat vegetarian chicken at KFC?
No joke, all KFC outlets in Canada have the option of free chicken "chicken" – ie, textured soy – all fried in the same mass for vegetarians. It is even supposed to be easy if not vegan leg and fried in the same oil as the real chicken. I'm allergic to chicken, eggs, and everything you ever wore feathers, but I remember good memories of those big red and white striped baby cubes, before everyone knew of my allergies. I have to try at least once.
No, not personally go out and buy KFC chicken vegetarian .. because, as we have that remains to support the poultry industry cruel .. but to say that to me life with a lovely family vegan omnivore and surrounded by many great friends omni, if ever I went with them and had to eat there .. I'd probably try it. But I still prefer to go home and cook my own dinner:) just my situation.
