Any vegetarians out there?
I'm looking for a good vegetarian restaurant in Houston. Preferably central or north side Any suggestions?
HI, I'm from Houston. Can you recommend a couple of places for you: India: Balaji Bhavan (pure vegetarian) – good service, try the Kaim iddly, Dahi Vada, Sambar and iddly, Udipi dosa plate (pure vegetarian) Hillcroft or Sugarland – good service, test and Sat Sunday buffet if you're not sure what to get. Buffet is better to Madras weeks (kosher, pure vegetarian) Kirby location has a buffet only, if you are going to order my personal favorite is paneer butter masala. Saag Paneer also is good, as is the mutter paneer. Dosas are very good, and most are dairy free -. Shivas (Rice Village) non-vegetarian buffet, but vegetables environment. It has some dishes Good vegetarian). Bombay Brasserie (Rice Village – it is a vegetarian restaurant, but have good vegetarian food. In fact, food is very tasty and have very high standards. The buffet is not vegetables, but has enough plant food for a good meal:. ETA Masala Wok (Westheimer / Beltway
Indian fast food! Many options vegetables. Yummy! Thai Village Thai (Rice Village) I love this place, and let you choose if you want vegetables, tofu, chicken or beef. So you can get * anything * on the menu says it wants only vegetables and tofu! Their tofu is awesome. I love their Pad Thai w and tofu, yellow curry w / tofu, noodles Spicy Basil w / tofu. YUM. You really do not need to say you want vegetables because most dishes come with vegetables:. China's Yao (Fountanview Westheimer nearby forgot exact intersection) Nice restaurant, and I think that many dishes can be made with tofu. Their tofu is very tasty. Hunan Village (in the area Shephard Montrose (near Alabama, I think), which can make any dish vegetarian and mock meats are fantastic, probably very unhealthy if!) Quan Yin (Bissonnet, it is mostly vegan) There is a vegan restaurant in the Westheimer vietnemese in the parking lot of the same Doneraki & Ross. About Fountanview not remember the name or know if it's still there. Its great if you can find it, there appears to be a vegan but it's all vegan Mexican:! Berry Hill (Montrose and other places) They have good vegetarian enchiladas, tamales and burritos. It's more "Mexican style" Mediterranean Mexican food: Aladdin (Montrose and Westheimer) Excellent food. MANY vegetarian and vegan options. Fadi's (Westheimer S / W of Houston, and Meyer Park location) owners in the same as Aladdin. Great food. Many options vegetables. Be careful when you go to the S / W Westheimer Houston locations. Some vegetable dishes have meat in them and are quite inconsistent …. one week no meat from bones your eggplant and one week will be vegan. You have to ask. ETA ZPizza Pizza (Bissonnet) I have not eaten in Zpizza in Houston, but we have one here in C-bus and is excellent. Daiya have vegan cheese, which is really delicious! I did a search and found a place in Houston. You may want to check out. If I think of anything else I'll update my post!
