Vegetarian going to take fish oil supplements?
Hello I have been vegetarian for 2.5 years now and on my last visit to the doctor advised me to start taking fish oil supplements for both acne and heart health. At first I refused, but after doing research on where else to get EPA and DHA that I realize I have to go and fish oil. (Do not try to play the oil card flax seeds, I've done my research I know it only contains ALA, which just becomes all events in the body, and all algae supplements not only have the DHA, EPA). My only question is, how I started a regiment of fish oil not consumed any animal flesh after 2.5 years? Will gastrointestinal problems like vomiting and diarrhea? How can I avoid this? (I'm thinking about taking a supplement of 1,000 mg for idk maybe I could take once a day on Thanksgiving or something, but even this shock my "system"?)! Again, no linen / / spring algal night / alternative borage, these do not offer the same nutrients as fish oil, get over it.
and if their only option to go for it. I'ma vegetarian and I wondered the same thing. if the Doctor says I probably should do what he says, but start slowly and increase the dose gradually for, as you said, not shock your body
