Why wont my gerbil eat the turkey I gave him? (he better not be a vegetarian)?
I had set the scene, it was christmas day and everyone tucked in to the traditional christmas turkey except kikki, the gerbil.
We tried everything to get him to eat it, we hid it within the other food, we put it in the water and we even tried to force feed him.
The only possible thing I can think of is that our stupid gerbil is a damn vegetarian…
I HATE vegetarians!
most small rodents dont like soft thing. Their herbavores and dont eat meat. Thats why in the food u buy for them theres lots of seeds and stuff. Its not that hes a veggie. They dont and cant eat soft things like meat. Their teeth are used for scraping and they cant scrap and may not even be able to digest meat
