Vegetarian in Band Camp?
So I go to band camp for my third year but this time I am a vegetarian. The last two years I have realize that there is a whole lot of vegetarian options. A couple of my friends had to eat iceberg lettuce and PB & J sandwiches all week, because almost all meals that include meat. I was wondering if someone could give me a few ideas of food (slightly healthier) I can take that do not need to be refrigerated. Thank you!
In my band camp, our principal ensures that there is a bucket full of protein bars in the cabins. Do not offer something like cheese or pasta sauce without meat? You can take almonds, some fruits, and some of its own protein bars. Sorry, that's all I can think of at the top of my head! (Good lucky!
