recipe for home birthday party?

I have my 25th birthday party in my apt. It's like a prison as any suitable size another apt in Manhattan and I have too big table that 10 people can sit together. So I want to make a kind of buffet party, but comes in on Saturday night, still must have a food that can be a meal, not just chips and stuff. Include me, half of them are vegetarians and eat no meat, fish and seafood. Anyone can suggest a good recipe that does not take too much time and money? I'm working on 2 jobs part time and going to graduate school. Apparently you can not have 4.5 hours to cook and I can not spend too much money to attend the party.

Well … Let me try to really think! The first thing you do is create a theme for food. Mexico is always popular because most people love Mexican food. You can buy a package (listen) tortila chips (I like a mixture purple corn and white corn because they are luxury!) and throw them in the oven for a couple of minutes to get the popcorn and smell good. put them on a plate with an easy for people to take a few (big pliers or a large spoon). try to get the dough made with only water and salt. check the ingredients and make sure there are no products from strange animals. set dishes of chopped tomato, shredded lettuce, chopped avocado, chopped onion, chopped jalepeno, black beans, a pound or so of ground beef and shredded Cheddar cheese or mozzerella cheese (make sure to keep away from vegetables!) and let people make their own nachos. The beauty of this is that demons plant can be loaded with vegetables, meat lovers can only ground beef and cheese, and covers the range of everyone in the middle. buy an extra bag of chips running Incase low! if possible, buy a fresh salsa street market or pick up a good appearance of the organic brand of salsa and serve slightly chilled. Toss in the fruit wedges (leaving out seeds if possible) and add the sugar and brandy. Cold during the night.
