vegetarian bbq ideas
BBQ ideas?

Therefore, my husband and I were invited to a Memorial Day barbecue for my friend's house. I want to bring a dish … and can be an appetizer, one side, dessert, whatever. However, I do not want to bring something boring and dull, like a potato salad or layer 7 or dip in the egg tray inserts. I want something tasty, and unique and sure to please. It can be vegetarian, but are not sure to be a good few are meat eaters. Does anyone have any idea what could bring? Any recipes you use on your own? Parties asked this question before, and got answers like: McDonald's Give, give cheese and crackers, bring tons of snacks ham. (Seriously, people sandiwches ham? On.) So I decided to post this question again, hoping that someone understands what I'm looking for and be creative, serious and help me. (Holiday / patriotic ideas are welcome)

How about a good vegetarian lasagna, chili, or stew? What can be done in a crock pot, and you plug in the grill. I can not believe people who said they brought ham sandwiches or Mcdonalds or cheese and crackers. Really shows how some people are cooking more, doesn't? When I have a vegetarian barbecue, usually have a stew or soup, kebabas grilled vegetables, mushrooms or smoked grilled, stir fried rice, curry cous cous, and some fruit skewers with yogurt sauce. You can also make a cassoulet of beans and potatoes au gratin (Well with some slices finely the onions and celery or kolrabi added) If you take a drink, maybe could do little pastry cups filled with cream cheese and artichoke sauce. Another success in most of events is a dip of spinach in a bowl of bread, just hollow out a round of bread filled with salsa, serve with pieces of bread and raw vegetables. Enjoy your BBQ, a sure sign of summer on the way!
