Tour to Coimbatore, Ooty, Coonoor, Mysore and Bangalore?
I intend to take my family of 3 adults on a tour of Ooty, Coonoor, Mysore and places surrounding and upto Bangalore (no tourism in Bangalore) in October / November this year, after Dussehra and Diwali before. We travel from Bombay to Coimbatore, and back in Bangalore. Can someone please let me have a suitable itinerary for a reasonable price hotel stays, in Coimbatore (overnight) Nilgiri Toy train from Mettupalayam to Ooty, two nights in Ooty, travel to Mysore, two nights in Mysore and leisure tourism in the places around Mysore and finally travel to Bangalore. Fully air conditioned budget accommodation decent food (preferably vegetarian), etc. Is there a tour package to my itinerary or specific customer itinerary can be made, which are reasonale and reliable tour operators, and approximately how much per capita cost should budget for
Hello, here are some hotels that we suggest for the trip of personal exerience: COIMBATORE: * Blue Star Hotel (double room with air conditioning – 750 rupees / £ 9 / $ 18) – This place has clean rooms with TV and bathrooms well. The management is friendly and convenient for the bus is. A bar and restaurant. Tathagata * hotel (double room with air conditioning – 710 rupees / £ 8.50 / $ 17) – Shining among budget hotels, opposite the train station, Tathagata is an elegant midrange but very small rooms nice. The rooms are very good value. Nilgiri's Nest * (double room with air conditioning – 1300 rupees / £ 16 / $ 32) – This intimate hotel management has comfortable rooms, excellent restaurant and even your supermarket! Ooty: You do not need air conditioning here! * Willow Hill (double room – 1000 rupess / £ 12.50 / $ 25) Sitiing high above the city room, equipped with large windows overlooking some of the best views in Ooty. All rooms have wooden floors and are spacious and comfortable, in the style of an alpine chalet with the most expensive room offers stunning views and a private garden! Their friendship here also has a restaurant and resonably God. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED – Kings Cliff Hotel (Doubles – around 1200 rupees / £ 15 / $ 30) Above Ooty in Strawberry Hill, Kings Cliff is a new charming hotel in a colonial mansion with wood paneling, antique furniture and brilliant views over Ooty. With only 9 rooms, its an intimate retreat and all rooms have individual character – Deluxe rooms have a private veranda with magnificent view. There is a fine restaurant, and staff can arrange trekking, mountain biking and other activities. Mysore: * KSTDC Hotel Mayura Hoysala (Double Air Con – 650 rupees / £ 8 / $ 16) – This hotel has gardens and large rooms and is also convenient to the bus station. * Hotel Mayura Palace (Room with Air Con – 500 rupees / £ 6 / $ 12) – The staff here are very helpful. This ordered hotel, the rooms quite new and clean sheets and fluffy towels. One of the best in the area. BANGALORE: * Small House Service Apartments (apartment including breakfast – 950 rupees / £ 11 / $ 22) – Being here is like taking time off to go home. You get a 2 bedroom apartment which have a living room and kitchen (pots and pans and all!) * Ballal residence (double room with air conditioning – 1500 rupees / £ 17.50 / $ 35) – This hotel really comfortable retreat Chaos has large, spotless rooms with all amenities including hot water constant na dair conditioning. His pure vegetable garden cafe serving the South and the North Indian food. In response to the per capita amount that depends on whether all 3 are all staying in one room. The reason is that the cost for a single room is almost the same as a double or triple. 3 If you are staying in the same room, you probably need about £ 15 / $ 30 each day to cover: * Hotels * All meals * Travel * reasonable amount of tourism * Drink * Anything else you might need such as internet access, shampoo anyway, and I hope this helps to have a great time
