I'ma vegetarian and I have very good eating Habbits Stary any suggestions on how healthy?
I have been one of almost over 2 years and I am 13 and it is important to me to be healthy so any ideas?
Make important nutrients, make sure to include protein, calcium, vitamin C and iron are VERY diet.These in adolescent vegetarians because between 13 and 19 are times of especially rapid growth and change. Nutritional needs are high during these years. A varied vegetarian diet includes healthy fruits, vegetables, many green leafy vegetables, whole grain products, nuts, seeds and legumes. Some vegetarians also choose to eat dairy products and / or eggs. Protein sources include beans, bread, cereals, nuts, peanut butter, tofu, soy milk and also some foods that are especially good sources of protein. Good sources of calcium such as tofu processed with calcium sulfate, green leafy vegetables including cabbage leaves, mustard greens and kale, and calcium-fortified soy milk and orange juice. Good sources of vitamin C are citrus fruits and juices, tomatoes and broccoli. Food that are high in iron include broccoli, raisins, watermelon, spinach, black-Eyed Peas, molasses, chickpeas and pinto beans.
