
South Beach Diet, a scam or does it work?
Overview. Dr. Agatston, a leading U.S. cardiologist, initially SouthBeach diet created by heart patients. In the second phase, low-GI carbohydrates including most fruits, Granary bread, whole grains and pasta and low fat milk is reintroduced. The idea is to stay with this phase until you've reached your target weight. Finally, Phase Three, we present an even wider variety of foods. This phase is aimed at maintaining a stable weight and diet recommended to stay in this lifetime.
What we like this plan. South Beach Diet differs from its competitors in low-carb, like Atkins, as it restricts saturated fats, which are associated with problems health such as heart disease and high cholesterol. The plan reduces cravings for sugar, sweets and other carbohydrates because the diet is supposed to maintain levels blood sugar steady. Its importance in fruits, vegetables, lean protein and heart-healthy fats is an eating plan that is full of vitamins, minerals and essential fatty acids.
