Why did you go vegan / vegetarian and what do you think the advantages of being?
I am currently studying Life Sciences at the university and the Nutrition is an important part of the course, or seems to be involed in everything. After reading some answers here do not seem to be many answers that do not agree with what you're teaching. (for example, someone stated that the vegan diet is the healthiest it's completely opposite of what it says on my books text). I am curious about the reasons for changing diet and what they think are the advantages to these diets.
I am currently studying Diet (nutrition) at a university, so I'm a little confused to say the textbooks say that veganism is the opposite of the diet is the healthiest. While I can not say that the healthy vegan diet ever, has many perks to it. The biggest problem is that a vegan diet is not well managed (w / or supplements) can be especially devastating. Although well maintained a vegan diet has many specific advantages over other diets, mainly because vegans consume lots of vegetables and protein and more often consume the varieties of these commodities. This saying almost any diet, proper maintenance may be beneficial. The main reason you hear many people praise the vegan diet has much to do with proper maintenance vegan diets include many types and varieties of vegetables and fruits. This increased consumption of vegetables and proteins include increased consumption of phytochemicals and phytonutrients, and antioxidants and so on. There is also a debatable view that these forms of foods are much easier on the stomach to digest animal products then complex, which tend to dwell in the stomach longer. Nearly all the health guildlines diet (calcium intake less) are covered completely exponentially on a vegan diet. Normally, people who eat with vegan more often "pick and eat all day as opposed to heavy meals (not in all cases, however), this tends to be a great facility in the digestive system. Moreover, not all but many people who adopt a vegan diet are more health conscious, therefore, focus on what they do and do not put in his body therefore can conclude, therefore assumed that most people on vegan diets tend to be conscoius and health, so many people praise the wholesomeness vegan diet. but any diet can be good for the body when it is properly regulated. I read a lot of books on animal welfare and personal health this was what turned me into veganism. Also my education in the field of nutrition helped me to confirm this choice as permanent. Personal benefits I'mve noticed. My acne seemed to disappear. My body felt much cleanier, which was noticed by the smells less unknown. (When I ate a meal, my body odors tend to resemble the food). Fewer noxious body odors (no longer needed deodorant – I know I sound like a dirty hippie now). I felt much cleaner spirtiual level. While I recognize that many of these can not be motivated more than a personal level, I think that is probably what you're looking for. Also I have noticed an increase in energy, although this can be helped to move from a junkfood diet for health in a more conscious life. I have also seen an increase my average in school and more sympathetic / empathetic attitude. Goodluck in your school work
